Industrious is a shared office and co-working space located in Downtown Austin. This innovative space allows businesses the opportunity to utilize a class A office without the overhead or expenses. The space is located on the corner of 5th & Colorado in a first generation build out.
The idea behind the Industrious office space was to create an open office environment by utilizing glass as much as possible. The build out finished with over 80 individual offices, most of which utilize the natural light from the building’s exterior in order to create a sense of space in each office.
The Burt Group began the build out of the office space before the shell was complete and we were able to work with the base building contractor in order to stay on schedule. Several items including the landlords mechanical equipment had to be demoed and relocated. Due to the density of the offices, creative thinking came into play in order to identify box locations and duct runs.
The Burt Group is very proud to have turned over the space for the tenant to move in prior to the shell building final inspections. Industrious is the 2nd office space to open for business in the building; close behind another Burt Group project on the 15th floor.
